Most distributors offer inferior imported snails from less desirable parts of the world. Our escargot is farmed raised in the Bourgogne province of France, a region highly renowned for their coveted Helix species. The Helix snail species is a larger air-breathing land snail that is known for its clean and delicious flavor. Add a little garlic butter and you have an authentic delicacy.
