Most distributors offer inferior imported snails from less desirable parts of the world. Our escargot is farmed-raised in France as the coveted “Burgundy” species. The Burgundy snail species is a larger air-breathing land snail that is known for its extremely delicious flavor. Add a little garlic butter and you have an authentic delicacy.
